Meet Eric Robinette, MD, MPH
Dr. Robinette is an infectious disease physician at Akron Children’s, where he’s been practicing since 2018. He earned his medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University and his master’s in public health from Dartmouth College. He completed his pediatric residency at Akron Children’s and a fellowship in pediatric infectious disease at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. Dr. Robinette specializes in bone and joint infections, medical informatics, quality and process improvement and influenza vaccination initiative. He is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric infectious diseases.

Everything from checking in for the appointment, to speaking with the nurses, and then speaking Doctor Robinette has always great. We are not rushed, he takes his time with us, and we appreciate it very much.

I've never thrown so much information (child's history) at a doctor and heard them repeat back IN EXACT correct order, everything I said, just to make sure he heard me correctly. He answered all of my questions, explained everything and didn't rush us out of the door. I'm blown away by this respectful, understanding and knowledge.
Dr. Robinette has been great with my daughter. He listens to her and has been instrumental in her treatment. I cannot say enough and highly recommend him.
He helped my daughter through a really tough time. He always listened to her concerns and gave answers that she could understand while giving her hope she would eventually feel better.
