Pediatric walk-in and same-day appointments cater to busy families
08-23-2024 (Akron, Ohio)
Akron Children's Pediatrics offices have expanded access to make it easier for patients to get the care they need.
“Sometimes, parents have time to schedule their child’s primary care visits days or weeks in advance. Other days, when their child wakes up sick, they need care quickly,” said Brian Dinger, Akron Children’s vice president of primary care. “We want Akron Children’s Pediatrics to be a family’s first choice when their child has a minor illness or injury. That is why we’ve improved access, offering more same-day appointments and walk-in care than ever before.”
Patients can go to any provider or any of the 44 offices in the Akron Children’s Pediatrics network. Dinger said that convenience is important for families especially during this busy back-to-school time, and they can move around if a nearby office has an opening or walk-in care when their provider isn’t available.
